The sodium bromide 7647-15-6 can be used for the following purposes.
a) used alone or together with sodium chloride, potassium chloride, or other bromides as well completion fluid, workover fluid and cementing fluid.
b) sodium bromide 7647-15-6 could be used for swimming pool water treatment and industrial wastewater treatment.
c) medical intermediate sodium bromide can be used as diuretic and depressant drugs, strengthening the process of cortical inhibition.
d) used as brominating agent in industries of synthetic fragrances, pharmaceuticals and dyes.
